Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period correct replacement ribbon, consisting of a swastika with ribbed arms, the obverse bearing raised central double Sig runes, within an oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE SS), unmarked, measuring 38. 06 mm (w) x
