Pegged construction visible on all four tapered legs. The top consists of two wide planks of wood which indicates the age of the piece as harvested trees were larger years ago. A former owner's name is carved on the top showing the history of the piece Could be used as a dining table, desk or console. Very light in weight. CREATOR Unknown. France.
