Italy, Kingdom. A Pair of Awards Newly Listed An Iron cross paty constructed1. Instituted in 1861. In 18 karat gold, cross in white enamel linked with gold rope, obverse centre shows a band with Italian beaded colours, reverse shows Savoy cross imposed on a black eagle with gold background, neck ribbon divided into three bands, very slight chip on reverse left side of crossbar, fine condition. Footnote: The Order of the Crown of Italy was founded by Victor Emmanuel II to commemorate the unification of Italy in 1861. It was
