It was made from a fairly thick slab of clay

no cracks or chips that I can see

full-color illustrations by Nanogak that communicate the same legends visually—and which I think I could look at every day and never tire of

but I think it's pretty great

I really love the painting on this skinny penguin, plus its disproportionately large head and ochre colored long nose and then those tiny little feet, upon which it balances perfectly. Pretty great, and signed on the underside of one foot, with what appears to read Nak Nik (or possibly Mak Mik!) Great vintage condition. 4 3 8" tall x 1 1 2" wide x 2 3 4" deep (at nose!)
