which measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 3 3/4 inches tall

It features wonderfully detailed depictions of interior scenes

I've become really enamored of the way the gold paint on old tramp art pieces like this softens and mellows with age--in this case I think at least a hundred years time has resulted in mellow gold perfection

This one was all about mastering individual letters and the proper slant of them, hence a whole page of "oo"s (finally becoming a whole page of "noon"s) and "aa"s,"cc"s "vv"s, etc., reading like fields of abstract mark making, which I find quite beautiful.
