I can't help but think of him as a portrayal of righteous hypocrisy--perhaps representing a puritanical late 17th century minister crying witchcraft

with one longer and narrower block meant to represent the trunk of a tree

original to it and not visible unless looking inside for it

I think it is just a fantastic little thing

so I'm listing them as a set and think I would would frame them up together more or less just a shown
