Some MkIIs were fitted with a wooden stock as this part was desirable and interchangeable with the Mk V

the movement being undertaken by a spring loaded pawl driven by the left-hand eccentric by way of a slide fixed in the left body wall

There are some in and out marks and just a hint of age in the surfaces

All in all in very nice collectable condition

Indian 18th Century Bronze 4-Pounder Cannon of Historical Significance The Pacific on HBO Some MkIIs were fitted withOriginal Item: Only One Available. Included in our Royal Nepalese Army purchase of 2003 was this magnificent Indian Bronze Cannon, fully decorated measuring 66" overall and 15" across at the trunnions. The swamped muzzle it 9" across with a bore size of 3. 375" making this a 4 Pounder. The Cascabel on the rear has been lost, most probably "in action" as by tradition this Cannon was taken by the 6th Madras Light Infantry at the Battle of Seringapatan
