This is a wonderful antique Javanese Wayang Kulit shadow puppet who resembles the famous character of "Bagong

and while not pushing do think it would be especially wonderful hung in a grouping with at least one of the other two paintings from the same series I have in the shop (see last photo to see what I mean)

It seems to me to show the influence of South American figurative pottery (Shipibo pottery comes to mind)
