Mid-Century Otagiri, Japan Ribbed Stoneware Budvase with Drippy Marbled Glazing vintage kids drawing which appears to be signedBack in the day, Otagiri, Japan made some pretty good pieces, like this one I think, which I first took as a two piece studio pottery vessel (it is in fact all one piece) and which has a sort of a mid century scandanavian feel to me. Nice weight, good earthy feel, with a deeply ribbed body that caused the pretty marbling of the drippy glazing. Perfect for one stem and I think would be the exact right vase for one small flowering branch or, even
