One of a Kind Group. This is a lovely uniform group attributed to Sergeant William Gambeski, who served with the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division during World War II, purportedly landing at Normandy. There is a laundry number, G 9626, written on the interior left sleeve, and this along with a note in the pocket identifies the set to Gambeski. The note says that the previous owner spoke with Mr. Gambeski at his home on
