Rare 1876-S $2.5 Liberty Gold Coin - Nominal About Uncirculated KM.89.2 1879-O/O Morgan Dollar Top-100 VAM-4With a mintage of a scant 5,000 coins, fewer than 500 believed extant in any grade and only around 20 believed to exist in uncirculated condition it is fairly safe to call the 1876 S $2. 5 Liberty a rare date. This specimen displays a slightly above average strike for the issue (typically a fairly weak strike) and trace luster. For a $2. 5 collector this is one of the biggies.
